Practice Rennovations

In November 2017 after months of planning we began our much needed building work.

Here’s a brief story of how it went. For the full story please check out our Facebook page!

The scaffolding was put up in November 2017 for the roofers, but then came the snow…

After the snow stopped the roofers managed to get up only to find that our roof was held up by a pebble…

Meanwhile, inside the practice… the floors were getting dug up for a new extension to be built. While the floors were being excavated the builders made an interesting find… Jam Pots. Who’d have thought? This got Simon into thinking of how he could ‘remember’ the building work while trying to help out the post man, so he changed the name of the building to ‘THE JAM POT’…

Once the extension was built and the testing room back to normal (minus the crack in the chimney breast or the chimney breast for that matter) the carpets began to go down. As a company we are big into our Ethical Sourcing so we couldn’t just have a normal carpet. Our carpet is actually made from recycled fishing nets! Of course no fishing net is that big so they had to be individual floor tiles…

If the pebble holding the roof up, the now fixed crack in Simon’s testing room and the recycled fishing nets carpet wasn’t impressive enough, then here are two others things which will blow your mind! Our colour changing cladding on the corner wall and our handmade wooden centre piece.. The cladding is designed to be eye-catching (pun intended) and the wooden centre piece is simply remarkable in design.
